Ramona’s marriage had ended,
and it had enhanced her life.
She saw it as adding by subtracting;
her ignorant excuse of a husband
had made the last few months seem like
a tortuous eternity. But, that was the thing
that carried the harshest sting.
How far did she have to fall in the course of a year.
A swift kick in the balls… er, drawers
would have curled him over like pork rind.
Never mind the woman scorned!
There is nothing worse than a housewife spurned!

Almost anytime someone puts a spin on common sayings, it delights me. This is good, Walt. I like a swift kick in the balls…er drawers. LoL
Confession: The “balls” popped off of the screen at steered this piece. And a swift kick will surely get one’s attention.
