the birds have flown,
on their quest
with nests of their own.
Seeing the world
with wonder and awe,
two headstrong girls
with nary a flaw.
Building their lives,
with plans for the best,
good loving wives,
a vacant nest.

THROUGH THE EYES OF A POET'S HEART 
Lovely. I hope you’re able to see your granddaughter from time to time.
Unfortunately, only on FaceTime as often as possible. She thinks I live in their iPad. My daughter says she picks it up and hold her face to it and jabbers. I do miss the physical hugs. Virtual hugs just don’t do it! Thanks Marilyn.
