APPLE CIDER

Aromatic and sweet,
Purely a treat when
Pumpkins are prevalent.
Liquid love in abundance
Every sip makes taste buds dance.

Crushed and filtered,
In quarts or gallons,
Doughnuts come in tandem
Even apple pies will suffice,
Respite ripe for the pickin’.

This cracked me up to no end …

    “Purely a treat when
    Pumpkins are prevalent.”

… because I read it as “when pumpkins are perverted” for some reason.

So, ha. Thanks for the giggle. 🙂

The poem, as you intended it, is also very good.
