LAZARUS RHYMES

He reverts back to where he started,
now a ghost of his former self,
retired from poemic pursuits.
A once “big deal” had gotten sick
of lurking in the shadows;
wanting to get back to expressing
all he left unsaid, back from the dead!

      1. I think my mum has: my hard drive failed shortly after I sent a revised eulogy to the vicar and was contemplating adding more; there was a mother deer with a young fawn in my garden on Monday; and then on Tuesday a robin flew in the window and I had to rescue it from our cats!
