I LOVE YOU UNTIL THE COWS COME HOME

I love you, as the day is long,
I love you when you’re less than strong,
I love you more than I have shown.
I love you until the cows come home.

I love you as I always have,
I love you like a healing salve,
I love you, right down to the bone.
I love you until the cows come home.

I love you in the morning’s light,
I love you in the deepest night,
I love you like an ice cream cone,
I love you until the cows come home.

I love you, love, with all my heart,
I love you and will do my part,
I love you when you feel alone,
I love you until the cows come home.

I love you through the vows we made,
I love you through life’s sad charade,
I love you no matter what may come,
I love you until the cows come home.

I love you. Let me say it again,
I love you to the very end.
I love you in this constant drone,
I love you until the cows come home.
