WHEN I HAVE A POINT TO MAKE

I make it a point
to point out
when I’m making a point!

When it excites me,
there’s surely a point to be made!
If I need to persuade,

the words I’ve said
will make my point!
When exclaiming

without naming names,
the point remains,
and my point is made!

And when I’m basking
in the questions I’m asking,
I get no answers!

My exclamation point
anoints everything I say
as a statement, and not what I meant!

So if I have a point to make,
make no mistake, I will point it out!
(That’s certainly without a doubt!)
