LOVE NOTE

The           violins strain,
    draining every             last
        bit of
            emo-
                tion
                    that
                        brea-
                            thes
                                with-
                                    in it.
                                        A cho-
                                            rus of
                                        woodwinds and
                                 reeds feeds its longing,
                                belonging to the two hearts
who hold the embers of true
                              friendship aloft. The melody
                               of connected souls scored;
                                   composed in love!

  1. 1. Great shape.
    2. A poem about a musical note that soars and connects.
    3. A breathless concerto of passion.

    Two thumbs up. 🙂

Like the new header, it appears to be a Wright house.

  2. Brilliant shape poetry, Walt. For me (I have music in my DNA, undeveloped as it is) poetry that taps into the world of music just shines. I really like how you bring out the fact that friendship must underlie love.
