SHIMMER

Summer shimmers.
Glorious rays of brilliant warmth.
It seem light years away
from here where the snow still falls.
I’d settle for Autumn at this point.
But I’d much rather anoint myself
with sunscreen and escape
this frozen dream; a cruel scheme.
Ice shimmers.

    Oy. Me too!!! Sooo ready for tanning.

    I have never thought of my coconut drizzle being an anointing of oil, but of course it is. That was kind of brilliant, Mister. Good for you. 😉
