FOUR SEASONS

The April showers
fall upon awakened grass,
at last winter ends.

Soon summer will come
the warmth of the sun, it soothes
and offers comfort.

Autumn sits in wait
a palette full of brilliance,
leaves dance to the ground.

Winter’s grip tightens.
It sends the earth to slumber
under its blanket.
