Your footing is precarious
as you are furiously spinning your wheels.
It feels as if your motor runs a mile
a minute, but your actions require more traction.
A good foundation is the basis for
a well-structured life. It can be rife with
pot holes and pit falls, all detrimental
to any forward progress. You digress
into a rut of your own creation, and any
elation will have to wait for you to stand firm.
The more you squirm, the more
the quicksand will devour you.
Keeping your wits about you will keep
others from losing theirs. Your foothold
will be something to behold.
The days of your life will be nothing
like sands through an hour glass.
Your feet will have found solid ground.
