WHEN TEARS LIKE RAINDROPS FALL

The thunder storm rages.
The lightning flash illuminates,
littering the scene with brilliance;
it’s impact was haunting.
The rain in a rivulet runs,
a remote  pool of lifeless tears
in need of one sad and lonely heart.
The price paid for love lost.

    though when love is lost…and words seem few –
    it just takes so darned long to recover.

    Thanks for your kind words. Have you scene the last to We Write Poem Prompts – 30 wordle words (at least the last one) – to play with here is my offering for the second one:

    While I hadn’t intended to use all the words either time…well they all found places.
